Welcome to "Inside AIC" - a place where you can share in the history of the Conference by viewing photos, videos, and the websites of our Conferences from the past 5 years.
The LSE SU Alternative Investments Conference (AIC) was founded by a group of committed and entrepreneurial undergraduate students in 2007 who aimed to create a forum for rich dialogue and debate between the world's leading hedge funds and private equity investors and students interested in these exciting industries. The Conference began with 200 students who participated in a one day event at the London School of Economics and heard from several notable investors. The Conference has since grown to be the world's largest student conference on hedge funds and private equity as it now attracts over 3,800 applicants from around the world to hear over 40 senior level industry speakers hold court for two days at the five-star London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
After the 2012 AIC Conference, over 2,000 delegates will have attended at least one of the six editions of the AIC. These delegates now have a place to reconnect. We are proud to announce the LSE SU Alternative Investments Conference (AIC) Alumni LinkedIn Group. The goal of the Alumni Group is twofold: to educate students in the field of alternative investments and to connect the next generation of business leaders in the field as they continue along their careers in the industry.
