FAQ

How much does it cost to attend?
The cost of attending the Conference is £79 plus VAT, however please note that the fee is subject to change prior to the close of registration. 

I can only attend part of the Conference. Am I eligible for a discount?
We are unable to provide discounts to any Conference attendees.

I am not currently a university student. Can I attend the Conference?
If you are not currently a university student, unfortunately you will not be able to attend the Conference. You must be a student in January 2012 in order to be eligible to attend.

When do I find out if I have been selected to attend?
We will notify successful applicants in the first two weeks of December. The Cornell Partnership, an independent recruitment boutique and our recruitment partner, will evaluate all applications received.

Is overnight accommodation available?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide arrangements for accommodation.

What is the Conference dress code?
The dress code for the Conference is Business Formal.

When do I have to pay?
After you have been notified of a successful registration, you will be asked to confirm your place and pay.

What does the price include?
The cost includes admission to the Conference and lunch on both days.

If I cannot attend the Conference after paying, am I entitled to a refund?
Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds after you have confirmed your place.

Only accepted and confirmed student delegates who have completed their ticket payment are eligible to submit a Best Trade Idea.

Best Trade Idea: How do I submit a Best Trade Idea?
After an accepted student delegate has completed their payment they will receive the instructions for submitting a Best Trade Idea.

Best Trade Idea: Who evaluates the Best Trade Idea?
The panelists - Christian Levett, Dr. John Porter, George Papamarkakis, and Steven Drobny - evaluate the Best Trade Idea submissions.

Best Trade Idea: Do the Conference organisers participate in the evaluation process?
The Best Trade Ideas are submitted directly to the panelists. The Conference organisers do not participate in the evaluation process.

Best Trade Idea: How can I find out the rules for submitting a Best Trade Idea?
The Rules for submitting a Best Trade Idea will be sent out in December to Accepted Delegates who have completed the payment of their tickets.
