Lorenz was born and raised in Germany. Currently, he is in his final year studying Geography with Economics which he complements with outside options in accounting and finance. During his time at LSE, he has developed a keen interest in finance and real estate more specifically. This ultimately led him to do internships in both real estate investment banking and real estate private equity, most recently at CBRE Global Investors. When Lorenz joined AIC as a Logistics Officer, he quickly realised that AIC is the ideal place to meet like-minded people who are equally passionate about alternative investments. Since then, he thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and perks that come with both organising an event of such scale and working in a highly driven team such as AIC. Lorenz is now one of the new Directors where his key responsibility consists of managing all logistical aspects of the conference. In his spare time, Lorenz enjoys going out for drinks and dinner, exploring London and travelling abroad. He is also a big advocate of volunteering work. Over the last two years, he served as a peer supporter on campus and worked as a financial advisor in Uganda and as a development consultant in Brazil. Moreover, before moving to London for his undergraduate studies, he studied inorganic chemistry for a semester and also spent a year in New York.
