Quek Yong Jie Paxton

Born to Singaporean and Shanghainese parents, Paxton spent a couple of his early years in Shanghai before moving to Singapore. He began tertiary education at the London School of Economics in the BSc Economics programme in 2018. With an interest in alternative investments and experience in design, he joined the AIC team upon introduction from his schoolmates, where he currently oversees Branding & Design. Paxton has had a range of experiences across real estate and businesses. He has interned at HJ Asset Management in Tokyo and CLSA PE Real Estate in Shanghai, where he gained exposure to interesting opportunistic and value-add projects around Asia. He currently assists a Tokyo family-run fund as a business development advisor. Beyond AIC, finance, and real estate, Paxton has interests in consumer technology and photography. As the President of the LSE SU Photography Society, he pushes for photography events and initiatives alongside both beginners and hobbyists. In his spare time, he does not mind waking up at 2am (+9 GMT) to watch launches such as Apple Special Events. Paxton attended the Hwa Chong Institution in Singapore until 2015 before his National Service. He relocated to Tokyo, Japan in 2017 and will be graduating from the London School of Economics as a BSc Economics student in 2021.
