In light of the current global pandemic, AIC will be holding its flagship webinar series for the 2020/21 academic year which is available throughout the year through AIC's website and social media pages, in replacement of the physical conference.
This webinar series comprises of a sequence of interviews and discussions with founders and executives of leading alternative investment firms. Each of these high-quality discussions will be posted virtually in our webinar series named "AIC Conversations".
This year, AIC has already invited a wide variety of speakers, ranging from founders of private equity titans to chief executives of notable hedge funds, and is constantly constantly adding more speakers of the highest calibre to share their insights and knowledge about the alternative investment industry.

Philippe Laffont is the Founder and Chief Investment officer of Coatue Management, a hedge fund and venture capital firm with over $25 billion in assets. Laffont is regarded as one of the most successful investors in the technology industry, having backed the likes of Facebook, Snapchat, Spotify, and ByteDance.
Marco De Benedetti
Marco Benedetti is a Managing Director and co-head of Carlyle's European Buyout Group, an international asset management company and of the largest private equity funds globally. He is particularly focused on the telecommunications and brand consumer goods sector. He is most well known for choosing the career path of the buyout business instead of a family empire and making his own success.
