MinJia (MJ for short) grew up in Singapore, and after graduating from Raffles Junior College, served in the military as a Military Police for 2 years, before starting his university studies at LSE. He is a proud member of AIC, where he currently serves as an IT Officer (and the webmaster) and the incoming Vice-president. He hopes to bring back the physical conference this year and meet and learn from likeminded students.
MJ is very interested in alternative investments, and has interned at various funds with a variety of different strategies - long-only value fund, fund of funds, and quantitative strategies. He is currently interning at UBS Asset Management as a research and analysis associate with the UK office.
In his free time, MJ likes to cycle, swim, play football, and nullify any of their health benefits by trying out and drinking many different kinds of overpriced craft beers (yes, the alcohol tax in Singapore is high). He is also an avid supporter of Manchester United.
