Gus Woolley

Gus Woolley is a Vice President at Bregal Sphere. He joined Bregal in 2021 as an Associate on the Responsible Investing team before transitioning to an Impact Associate role at Bregal Sphere. Prior to joining Bregal, Gus was an Associate in J.P. Morgan’s Global Environmental & Social Risk Management team, where his primary focus was undertaking ESG due diligence on client transactions - covering a range of ESG issues, ESG-finance products, and high-risk sectors.
Gus graduated with an MSci in Physical Geography from Durham University, where he wrote his Masters’ thesis on soil carbon dynamics in the Western Southern Alps, New Zealand. Gus also holds the CBI Certificate in Green Finance and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
