Maria Pungs

Maria Pungs is a Senior Associate on the Responsible Investing team at Bregal Investments. Prior to joining Bregal in 2024, Maria was an Associate on the ESG and Impact team at Development Partners International. Her focus was conducting ESG and impact due diligence, engagement and reporting, and developing DPI’s impact measurement framework. Previously, Maria worked at ERM as a sustainability consultant in their M&A team.
Maria graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of Exeter, and holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Maria also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
