Jacob Grossman is Head of the Citadel Associate Program and is responsible for leading training and development efforts for Associate-level equities talent at Citadel.
Jacob joined Citadel in 2017 as a Technology, Communications, Media and Entertainment Portfolio Manager within Surveyor Capital, one of Citadel’s three long-short equities businesses. Prior to joining Citadel, he was a Partner and TMT sector head at Glenview Capital, a leading diversified hedge fund. Before that, he was an Equities Research Analyst at both Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers (now Barclays) and a mergers and acquisitions investment banker at Lehman Brothers.
Jacob serves on the board of KIPP New Jersey, part of the “Knowledge is Power Program” network of college-preparatory public schools and served on the advisory board for Teach for America New York from 2013 to 2017. He received an MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management and a bachelor’s degree, with high honors, from Rutgers College.
