George Robson

Sequoia Capital

George joined Sequoia Capital as a Partner in August last year, as part of the team launching the new European office. He is currently focused on trends in FinTech, particularly around Savings and DeFi, innovation in the e-commerce stack and new trends in social gaming and social commerce.

Prior to joining Sequoia, he was one of the early team at Revolut, where he helped to build and scale the FinTech’s subscription product, Revolut Premium, worldwide. Over that time here hired more than 2,000 people into the company, and grew the paid user base 45-fold in three years. He started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on a range of transactions including Fox’s acquisition of Sky and Vantiv’s merger with WorldPay. While at the London School of Economics he co-founded the student run incubator Kickstart (https://www.kickstartglobal.com/), which is now in its fifth cohort and active across 30 universities across the UK.
