Jon Moulton

Jon Moulton is Founder and Chairman of Better Capital, with experience in the private equity space since 1980. He is widely regarded as the public face of private equity in the UK. Prior to Better Capital, Mr. Moulton served as Managing Partner at Citicorp Venture Capital and Schroder Ventures before a brief spell at Apax Partners. He then founded Alchemy Partners in 1997, which specializes in investing in distressed and undervalued or underperforming businesses through debt and equity throughout Europe.

Mr. Moulton is a trustee of the UK Stem Cell Foundation and also helped fund Imperial College London's COVID vaccine during the early stages of the pandemic when access to government funding was scarce.

Mr. Moulton received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Lancaster University and is an Honorary Fellow of University College London.
