Richard Mashaal is the founder and Co-Chief Investment Officer of the investment advisory firm, Senvest Management LLC. In addition, he is Director & VP at Senvest Capital, a publicly traded holding company focusing on investment management and direct investing in public securities and private investments.

After a brief stint in banking, Mr. Mashaal joined the family business in 1989 where he spearheaded the effort to morph it into a merchant bank and investor into real estate, private equity, and public equity. In 1997, he started his flagship fund, Senvest Partners, which now has approximately $3 billion AUM. He was famously one of the hedge funds who had won out on the WallStreetBets $GME wave, making $700m in the process.

Mr Mashaal received a B.S degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
