Simon Marc

PSP Investments

Simon Marc is Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Private Equity at PSP Investments, leading the PE team in Montreal, New York, London, and Hong Kong. He also started the PSP London office.

Mr. Marc runs the $31.7 billion Private Equity operations of PSP globally, oversees the PSP network of PE partners and leads transaction opportunities. This includes direct PE Investments, co-sponsorship / co-investment transactions with GP partners, and fund investments.

PSP, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, is one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers, with $204 billion of assets under management as of March 2021. PSP invest funds for the pension plans of the Public Service, the Canadian Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Reserve Force.

Mr. Marc has over 20 years of investment experience. Until 2015, he was a Principal at Permira (London). Prior to that, he was Director at Candover (London) and Principal at Apax Partners (Paris). He started his career as Analyst at Goldman Sachs (Paris) in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area.

Mr. Marc received a graduate degree in Finance from the HEC School of Management.
