Kannan Niththyananthan

Mr. Niththyananthan is a Senior Portfolio Manager and joined Capstone in 2009 to build out the fixed income volatility trading strategy.

Mr. Niththyananthan enjoys the flexibility he has to manage his role in his own design as well as the familial feel of the London office. He began his career at J.P. Morgan Securities, where he focused on fixed income trading before moving to BNP Paribas to pursue proprietary trading. Mr. Niththyananthan returned to J.P. Morgan to join hedge fund sales, where he managed the relative value group. He was also a partner at London Diversified Fund Management, where he worked on the main CIO book, looking after primarily volatility strategies.

Mr. Niththyananthan received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Business Economics from the London School of Economics.
