Yaajan Govindia

Yaajan Govindia is a Vice President of the AIMS Vintage Strategies investment team at Goldman Sachs, where he focuses on making private equity investments globally, including continuation vehicles, acquiring portfolios, and structured equity transactions. Yaajan joined Goldman Sachs in the AIMS Private Equity investment team in London and previously worked at Nomura in the Investment Banking Division, focusing on transactions in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors. Yaajan received a First Class with Distinction BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Yaajan is also a philanthropist and spiritualist. Through a fundraiser Yaajan led in 2020/2021, he raised over $250k for Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) through an online campaign to mark ten years since he was first diagnosed and now cured of leukaemia, sharing his story through his social media pages where the videos and posts received over a hundred thousand views. Using the experiences and teachings which his mentors and teachers have given him, Yaajan now strives to help others through the platforms and opportunities he has been provided.
