Louis-Tchine Pickering
Director of Research
Louis-Tchine is a French, Chinese and British person who grew up in the island city of Singapore and now lives in London, reading Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Studying the International Baccalaureate curriculum in high school, Louis-Tchine grew a passion towards Business Management, Maths and Geography, culminating in his interest in exploring Green Venture Capital and Private Equity, Real Assets Investing, and more sustainability areas in the world of Alternative Investments.
Louis-Tchine joined the LSE Alternative Investments Conference (AIC) in October 2022 as one of the officers of the Digital Strategy division, the newest division introduced to the society that year. Alongside his fellow officers and director, they wrote weekly news updates, and opinion articles, alongside boosting social media exposure of the society to the broader student community. At present, Louis-Tchine decided to continue with AIC as the new Director of Research, a new division introduced to the society to help streamline the research processes of AIC and boost the research capabilities to new heights to become a major platform for news in Alternative Investments.
In his free time, Louis-Tchine is a sports enthusiast, playing football and rugby and catching the Formula 1 races over the weekend. He also enjoys playing the violin and cooking in his free time.
