Shota was born and raised in Georgia before moving to the UK for his A-levels. Prior to starting at LSE, he spent a year interning in economic and security organisations and volunteered in Ukraine.

At LSE, he joined AIC as an External Affairs Officer, attracted by its ambitious vision and a tight-knit community. Currently serving as Co-President, he is committed to expanding AIC into a global network and elevating the conference to new heights in terms of speaker calibre and delegate diversity.

Shota is pursuing a BSc in Politics and Economics. He commands Georgian, English, German, Russian and Ukrainian languages. Beyond LSE and AIC, he is a competitive épée fencer and a Sambo practitioner.
